AMU Directory facilitates Aligs across the Globe to establish contact with each other and henceforth with the alma-mater. We believe that together we can organize our thoughts and synergize our efforts to help realize the vision AMU stands for.

Registration will allow access to secure directory areas and searches. Registered members enjoy the benefits of searching Classmates, Hall mates and Aligs from their cities and current countries etc.

Click on "Alumni List" to see all the preset criteria to show "List of Alumni". This helps if you are looking for a complete list of Aligs from a particular place, hall, profession or course.

We have started a new series "Where are they?". You can click on "Where are they?" link and read already posted messages about Alig or post your own message, if you are looking for some Alig. Aligs can reply to any post.

You can click on "Feedback" link on the bottom of every page and provide your suggestions or feedback about our efforts.

amudirectory.com has new members everyday and old members are modifying their information in large numbers. It is difficult to find out who has changed address or his/her information in large database. "What's new" section shows a list of Aligs who have updated their information in last 30 days.

"My Directory" is kind of one-stop-shop. Here you will have all the links related to you and you can perform almost all kinds of related searches with single clicks. You can also update your information and change your password.

To find your classmates, it is very necessary to first about your courses. If you already have your academic details entered in your profile, you can go to "My Profile" or "My directory" and look for link "Batchmates" in front of your courses. Click "Batchmates" and it will show your classmates.

Click on the name of the Alumni. Look for the link "[Click here to contact ....]" in 'Contact Information" section. Click that link, enter your message and send.

There are various ways to search an Alig.

1. if you know his/her name, enter his/her first name in "Quick Search" box on the left, then click on "GO".

2. If you do not remember his/her correct name but you know other information, then you need to go to "Search" section. Remember Search section is Advanced Search. This section will filter the results on the basis of all the criteria that you enter. More criteria means more filtered results.

Click on "Password" link and enter your registered enrolment number and click on "Send my Password" button. It will send your password to your registered eMail address.

In "My profile" section you can maintain your own information/profile. You can modify general, academic or contact information as when it changes and also change your password anytime.

There are two ways to change your profile information.
1. Go to "My profile" section and click on "[Edit....]" links for each information. OR
2. Go to "My Directory" and click on links to edit general, academic or contact information.

Click on "Register" link and follow the instructions. Please NOTE that as for now, you can only use "Internet Explorer 5.0+" to register your information or update your existing information.
